Here's a list of our most frequently asked questions - inquiring minds want to know!  If you don't see your question listed here, please contact us directly!

Q:  We're interested in talking to PCW about an upcoming project.  Is there a consultation fee?

A:  No!  We never charge for a consultation.  We provide free meetings and estimates as a courtesy to our wonderful clients.

Q:  I'm an avid weekend warrior and love DIY projects, but I need a little guidance on design.  Is that something you do?

A: Yes!  We offer design services which include the free first meeting and then an hourly fee for design work.  Hiring a designer can be a great way to formulate a master plan for your home - even if you plan on doing all the work yourself!  Angi works closely with design clients, utilizing computer rendering software so clients can get a feeling for what the final project might look like!

Q:  We'd like to build a new home, but aren't ready to break ground until next year.  When should we start planning?

A:  It's never too soon to start planning for a new home - or for any other project!  We work closely with our clients to ensure they are getting exactly what they want.  This includes many meetings, computerized renderings, shopping trips to select finishes and hand drafted plans.  Good things take time and our schedule fills up fast.  If you're thinking of a home project please let us know, even if it's a year away!

Q:  I live in an historic home, are you able to remodel my kitchen so it's updated but fits the age and style of my home?

A:  Absolutely!  Working in older homes is one of our passions.  While each will present its own set of challenges, we find that matching original windows and millwork with up to date components is very satisfying.  We love clients who are in love with their homes!

Q:  My mudroom is cramped and cluttered.  Can PCW build a custom cabinet for my space?

A:  Of course!  Mark's custom cabinetry is top notch.  We've built everything from bookcases to entire kitchens in our cabinet shop.

Q:  There are a lot of builders in town.  Why should we consider hiring PCW design/build?

A:  It's true - there are a lot of builders in town and many build a lovely home, just like PCW.  However, we believe a few things set us apart from the rest.  We are hands on - from start to finish you will see Mark and Angi on the jobsite daily.  We believe this fosters open lines of communication between the client and us, as well as ensuring good subcontractor relations.  Speaking of subcontractors - we've used the same ones for over a decade.  They know that we expect the highest level of workmanship, courteous behavior and a clean jobsite.  It's difficult having people in your home, that's why we insist that jobsites are left clean every day.  Our team is filled with tradespeople who take pride in their craft and are the best in the area.

We are passionate about our profession and we bring that same passion, along with our vast knowledge base and experience, to each and every job we do.  Simply put, we care.  About you, about your home, about your project and about your experience.  Please, contact us today about your next project!
